About CuraTrim

CuraTrim connects patients across the United States with licensed healthcare providers who prescribe FDA-approved GLP-1 medications for medically supervised weight loss. We are a technology platform and pharmacy coordination service—not a medical practice—that simplifies access to clinically proven weight loss treatments including semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound).

Our Mission

Obesity is a chronic disease, not a failure of willpower. Our mission is to increase access to evidence-based medical weight loss treatments by removing barriers: confusing insurance processes, limited provider availability, and fragmented pharmacy fulfillment. We believe every patient deserves compassionate, clinically rigorous care that treats obesity with the same seriousness as any other chronic condition.

What We Do

CuraTrim operates as a coordination platform that connects three essential elements of your care journey:

Licensed Healthcare Providers. We partner with independent, U.S.-licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who specialize in obesity medicine. These providers conduct thorough clinical evaluations, determine eligibility, and prescribe GLP-1 medications when medically appropriate. All prescribing decisions are made independently by licensed clinicians—CuraTrim does not influence or direct medical judgment .

Pharmacy Fulfillment. Approved prescriptions are transmitted to licensed U.S. pharmacies that dispense FDA-approved brand-name medications, including Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, and Zepbound. For patients who qualify, prescriptions may also be filled through manufacturer direct-pay programs such as LillyDirect or NovoCare Pharmacy, which offer reduced cash-pay pricing .

Ongoing Support. We believe GLP-1 treatment requires more than a prescription. Our platform facilitates ongoing communication between patients and providers for dose adjustments, side effect management, and progress monitoring. Rigorous follow-up is not optional—it is the standard of care for safe, effective obesity treatment .

What Makes CuraTrim Different

Compliance-First Infrastructure. The GLP-1 landscape has changed dramatically. The FDA has issued hundreds of warning letters to telehealth companies for misleading marketing of compounded GLP-1 products, and the agency has shifted to proactive enforcement of direct-to-consumer advertising . CuraTrim is built for this environment. We only facilitate access to FDA-approved brand-name medications, and our communications strictly avoid "sameness" claims, misleading efficacy statements, or language implying that compounded products are equivalent to approved drugs .

No Compounded GLP-1s. Following the FDA's resolution of semaglutide and tirzepatide shortages, compounded versions of these medications are no longer legally permitted as "essentially identical copies" . CuraTrim does not facilitate compounded GLP-1 prescriptions. Our patients receive FDA-approved medications dispensed by licensed pharmacies.

Rigorous Clinical Screening. Our partner providers conduct thorough intake evaluations that screen for BMI thresholds, weight-related comorbidities, contraindications (including personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2 syndrome), and potential drug interactions. This is not a questionnaire-and-prescription operation—it is a clinical program

Our Team

CuraTrim was founded by healthcare technology professionals who saw firsthand how fragmented the U.S. weight loss treatment landscape had become. Our leadership team brings experience in telehealth platform development, pharmacy coordination, and regulatory compliance.

Our clinical network consists of independent licensed providers who maintain their own credentials, licenses, and professional judgment. We do not employ providers directly, and we do not interfere with clinical decision-making.

Where We Operate

CuraTrim serves patients in states where our affiliated medical groups and pharmacy partners are licensed to operate. Availability varies by state due to telehealth prescribing regulations, which require providers to be licensed in the state where the patient is located .

We are actively expanding our provider network to serve more patients across the United States.

Our Commitment to Transparency

We believe patients deserve clear, honest information about their treatment options. That means:

  • We tell you what GLP-1 medications cost — including cash-pay pricing through manufacturer programs — before you commit

  • We explain the difference between FDA-approved and compounded medications — and we only facilitate access to the former

  • We do not make exaggerated claims about weight loss outcomes, "miracle" results, or superiority over other treatments

  • We comply with FDA and FTC advertising standards — no misleading before-and-after images, no unsupported efficacy claims, no "sameness" language

Our Vision

We envision a future where medical weight loss treatment is accessible, affordable, and clinically rigorous—where patients can access GLP-1 medications through a trusted platform without navigating confusing insurance requirements, unreliable compounding pharmacies, or misleading marketing. CuraTrim exists to be that trusted platform.
